Had an inspiring time painting and photographing during the "The Art of the Sketchbook" workshop at Peter's Valley - July 27-31, 2012. Was able to attend thanks to friend Barbara who did the driving! Friend, Artist, and Teacher, Lorraine, was wonderful as I've come to expect over the years.

Had a fun and excellent learning experience during a 5-day workshop at Peter's Valley, "The Art of the Sketchbook," with artist Lorraine Niemela. It was much more than just sketching...photographing, trying different media and techniques, assignments to stretch our creativity.
