Had fun playing with the Cuisinart Panini Press. OK, so it's just a hamburger patty..but look at the grill marks on the Portugese roll, the grilled red pepper and the basil leaf! I didn't play around too long with taking the photo...I wanted to enjoy my gourmet burger while it was still hot!

Everything is coming up roses!

Collage "Mostly Roses"

Stopped at the beautiful Rose Gardens in Portland on the whirlwind trip to Portland, Seattle and Tacoma. Although it's a little past their prime, there were many beautiful roses still in bloom. Unlike what we'd heard...it was a lovely warm and sunny day and I had about 45 minutes to literally run around taking photos.
