Well...I almost got it. It turned out that a Northwest facing terrace is not the best vantage point for an eclipse. I had to lean over the rail just to catch a few quick photos at the early stages of the eclipse, before it disappeared around the corner of the building. Well, actually, it was the earth that moved...and it goes faster than I realized.
