Rio - The Sitio - Part 2 - Art & Architecture

The Sitio is a 222- acre former coffee plantation with Burle Marx's villa, a restored 17th century chapel, an Atelier, and an outdoor entertainment facility. Burle Marx was an architect, a landscape architect, an artist, a collector, and an extravagant host. In addition to the collection of flora, each turn of the path took you to another beautiful architectural detail or works of art. I just kept snapping away! Tomorrow I'll share some of those views with those who happen upon my blog.
